The Store General Manager is the wine buyer with more than 30 years experience! He is well known for his ability to source enticing wines that are both a great value, as well as affordable classics.
Many of the vast range of over 1500 different wines in the store cannot be found in government liquor stores or other private stores. All the major wine producing countries of the world are represented, at all price levels and offering all the major grape varietals, both traditional and native grapes. There are 250 different wines from BC and 50 of those are from Vancouver Island.
You will find frequent in house specials of bin ends or discontinued wines and many customers like to browse the selections to find something special.
A Wines of the Month Club is offered whereby members receive two bottles of specially selected wine each month for $50. These are always world class wines, not available in government stores, new to the store and offered exclusively first to the members before they go on the store shelves. The wine buyer provides tasting notes with background and technical details on the wines as well as some suggested food pairings.
