This grape is not as well known as Malbec from Argentina, but is actually the most widely planted one. It is mostly found in blends, but in Argentina it is a favourite.  It requires a long maturing time on the vine so the grapes are full and ripe.  Deep intense aroma and flavour with a smooth finish.
